That said, there’s still plenty else to get excited about throughout the week. Here’s your preview of everything scheduled to drop on Netflix US over the next 7 days.
A busy week for departures, too. Movies leaving this week include Empire Records, Blade of the 47 Ronin, and Miller’s Girl, which stars Wednesday star Jenna Ortega. A selection of Sindbad stand-up specials is also due to be removed later in the week.
Most Anticipated New Arrivals on Netflix This Week
The Monster of Florence (Limited Series)
Coming to Netflix: Wednesday
Occasionally, an international show pops up on our radar that we think might have the goods to go the distance and given that audiences are clearly still in love with serial killer dramas (see Monster: The Ed Gein Story) we think next on your list should be The Monster of Florence, a short mini-series that tracks Italy’s most notorious killer in the countries history. Nobody Wants This (Season 2)
Coming to Netflix: Wednesday
Kirsten Bell and Adam Brody took the world by storm in this romantic comedy series Nobody Wants This last year, eventually spending six weeks in the global top 10s, and thanks to a quick renewal, we haven’t had an extra-long wait for the return of the show, which is back for 10 episodes in the latter half of this week.
Featuring some new faces, the official synopsis for season 2 of Nobody Wants This reads: “The last time we saw agnostic podcast host Joanne and unconventional (hot) rabbi Noah, their unmatched chemistry surprised everyone in their lives, including her sister Morgan, his brother Sasha, and sister-in-law Esther (Jackie Tohn), and even themselves. Their spark proved stronger than all of the obstacles trying to keep them apart. Now, they’re back and fully committed to merging their lives – and loved ones — together. But their differences still exist and can’t be ignored. The challenge now is not just falling in love against all odds, but staying together despite them.”
A House of Dynamite (2025)
Coming to Netflix: Wednesday
In what is one of Netflix’s biggest movies of the year, an all-star cast comes together to star in a new thriller from director Kathryn Bigelow, best known for movies like The Hurt Locker and Zero Dark Thirty. The film features a giant ensemble cast led by Idris Elba as the President of the United States, with Rebecca Ferguson as Captain Olivia Walker and Gabriel Basso as Deputy National Security Advisor Jake Baerington.
