It’s a new week, and while it won’t quite be as busy as last week with a whopping 140+ new movies and series dropping, there’s still some killer additions on the way, led by Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein, which has been setting an otherwise somber box office on fire despite only being available in select theaters. Here’s your look ahead at everything coming up on Netflix in the US and globally between November 3rd and 9th, 2025.

As we enter a new month, you’ll want to familiarize yourself with all the latest releases scheduled for November 2025, and we continue to learn of more titles. Throughout this week, we’ll provide an early look at what’s coming up in the final month of the year, December.

Most Anticipated New Releases on Netflix This Week

Minx (Seasons 1-2)

Coming to Netflix: Tuesday

Continuing Netflix’s recent trend of acquiring some of the biggest titles from the Starz lineup in the past decade plus (and others from the Lionsgate TV library) we’ll be seeing both seasons of the slick production of Minx, which began its life on HBO Max before transitioning to Starz, but sadly getting cut before a season 3 renewal.

The comedy-drama is set in 1970s Los Angeles and follows Joyce Prigger, a young feminist writer determined to launch a serious women’s magazine. After struggling to get her ideas taken seriously, she teams up with a low-rent adult magazine publisher who sees commercial potential in her message. Together, they create the first erotic magazine for women, sparking controversy and attention in equal measure. The show blends sharp social commentary with lighthearted humor as Joyce and her new colleagues navigate workplace clashes, cultural pushback, and the complexities of sexual liberation during a rapidly shifting era.

Death by Lightning (Limited Series)

Coming to Netflix: Thursday

We’re definitely in prestige season when it comes to movies, but November will feature two new limited series that are both worth noting, with the first being a new historical drama, Death by Lightning. It’s got a killer cast and some excellent behind-the-scenes talent too.

The official synopsis for the series reads, “the epic and stranger-than-fiction true story of James Garfield, reluctant 20th president of the United States, and his greatest admirer Charles Guiteau — the man who would come to kill him.”

Frankenstein (2025)

Coming to Netflix: Friday

If you’ve missed your opportunity to catch Frankenstein on the big screen over the past two weeks, we’d definitely recommend you try and seek out a way to watch this on the big screen. Come Friday, the entire world will be able to get to watch Guillermo del Toro’s lifelong hope of bringing Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein to the big screen.
