The Gentlemen season 2 has wrapped filming! Having been in production since the spring, it has been an intense ride for the returning Netflix series, but the streamer has confirmed that filming ended this weekend, and according to our intel, it wrapped sooner than initially expected.

Produced by Miramax and Moonage Pictures for Netflix, the hit British series will see Guy Ritchie at the helm once again this season. It was given a season 2 renewal in August 2024 following its initial premiere in March 2024.

The series entered production sometime in late April, with Netflix officially confirming it in late May 2025. Our original intel suggested that filming would wrap in late November, so its mid to late October completion is earlier than anticipated. Those on the production were also treated to a season 2 wrap party, along with gifts such as a bright pair of glass tumblers featuring season 2 branding.

While we have a much bigger preview of everything we know and what you can expect going into season 2 elsewhere on the site, which we will keep updated ahead of release, here are the key headlines for the new season that you may have missed:

  • Lots of new cast members, including notable additions such as Hugh Bonneville, Benjamin Clementine, Benedetta Porcaroli, and Michele Morrone.
  • The series has filmed extensively in Italy this season, including on the iconic Lake Maggiore.
  • New casting calls reveal several new characters for the season, promising plenty of action and drama.

While on the subject of The Gentlemen season 2, we should mention a couple of new names we have learned for the forthcoming second season.

Ian Bonar (Isle of Shite, Dope Girls) will be playing the role of Richard, and Cosimo Fusco (30 Coins, Angels & Demons) has joined the cast as Carlos Vargas. Netflix did not respond to a request for comment on these additions.

No word on an exact release date yet, but Moonage Pictures and Netflix themselves have confirmed a 2026 premiere.

We have found two people connected to the production celebrating the big wrap so far, including Katie Newton, a locations assistant on the series, and Samuel Perez, an aerial cinematographer. We will update this post if we find more.
