Since 2014, The WB and The CW’s long-running horror-fantasy series Supernatural has called Netflix home, with new seasons arriving shortly after each season’s conclusion on the network. The fifteenth and final season dropped in 2020, and now, five years and a bit later, the series is due to leave Netflix US in full, but the good news is that it’s already found a new streaming home.

Spanning 15 seasons and 327 episodes, Supernatural follows siblings Dean and Sam as they crisscross the country investigating paranormal activity and battling demons, ghosts, and monsters. Starring Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles, this TV-MA-rated series originally aired from 2005 to 2020 on The WB and The CW. Produced by Warner Bros. Television, the show is available with both English and Spanish (Latin America) audio and subtitles.

The removal has been a long time coming, but later than first anticipated; we’ve given you plenty of notice, one way or another. We gave you a heads-up in November of last year when covering some of the biggest licensed titles scheduled to leave throughout 2025, and another notice in January of this year. Of course, we always caveated that Netflix could always turn around and renew the license, but it’s unlikely.

Of course, we got official notice from Netflix that the series is leaving in December 2025, with all fifteen seasons set to go alongside two other The CW shows: Arrow and The 100. Your last day to watch is on December 17th, with the actual removal planned for December 18th at midnight.

Supernatural will move to Peacock

While we didn’t speculate where Supernatural would stream next, given that many of The CW’s titles that Warner Bros. Television ultimately owns haven’t found new streaming homes (weird given their natural homes would be HBO Max), that’s not the case with Supernatural.

Thankfully, there won’t be a period when Supernatural will be completely unavailable as part of a streaming subscription service, as Peacock confirmed in its December 2025 schedule that the series will drop a few days after its Netflix departure on December 22nd.

All 15 seasons will join Peacock, though we don’t yet know whether it’ll be available only in the premium tier or also on the advertising tier. How long it’ll stream on Peacock is unclear.

To see what else is leaving Netflix US throughout December 2025, keep it locked here on What’s on Netflix, and we’re tracking all the remaining The CW shows still on Netflix and when they’re leaving here.
