Stefanie Pieper’s Austrian Influencer Discovered Dead In A Suitcase
Stefanie Pieper, a 31-year-old beauty influencer from Graz, was found dead in Slovenia after going missing. Her ex-boyfriend allegedly confessed and was arrested.
Austrian beauty influencer Stefanie Pieper, who had been reported missing after attending a holiday gathering on November 23, 2025, was found dead in a suitcase in a forested area of Slovenia. She was 31. Authorities located her body after an extensive search triggered when she failed to appear for a scheduled photo shoot.
Investigators in Austria were alerted by Pieper’s family and colleagues shortly after she went missing. According to Kronen Zeitung, police later learned that her former boyfriend had allegedly admitted to killing her and guided officers to the remote site where she had been left.
Providing details of the investigation, the authorities said, “The man is believed to have traveled to Slovenia several times in his car. He could not be contacted by the investigating police.” They added that the suspect was detained by Slovenian officers after a significant development at the border.
“On Monday evening, November 24, 2025, the Slovenian police reported that a car had caught fire in the parking lot of a casino near the border. This was the 31-year-old man’s car. He was found in the immediate vicinity of the burning vehicle and arrested by the Slovenian police. Extradition to Austria has been requested,” authorities stated.
Local outlets Oe24 and 20 Minuten reported that Pieper had initially informed a friend via WhatsApp that she had returned home safely. Minutes later, she sent another message expressing fear, saying she believed someone was in her stairwell.
A separate report in Kleine Zeitung noted that neighbours recalled hearing a dispute and said they had seen her ex-boyfriend in the vicinity around the same time.
Pieper was a makeup artist and beauty content creator from Graz’s Geidorf district. She frequently shared product recommendations, makeup looks, and personal moments with her Golden Retriever, Marlow. Her Instagram bio also identified her as a singer.
