Rowan Atkinson Returns to Netflix with ‘Man Vs Baby’: Release Date, Trailer & First Looks
Trevor Bingley faces his most formidable foe to date.

The follow-up series to Man Vs Bee has just had the lid lifted! Netflix has confirmed a Christmas premiere for the show, with all four episodes, each running 30 minutes, set to drop on December 11th, 2025.
Coming to Netflix over three years after Man Vs Bee premiered on Netflix in June 2022. Rowan Atkinson, best known for iconic roles such as Mr. Bean, Johnny English, and Blackadder, returns as Trevor Bingley, and rather than going up against a yellow and black foe, he’s facing up against a human baby.
The project was officially announced in December 2024, with production then underway. It was filmed across the United Kingdom, including Central London locations such as Piccadilly Circus.
The official synopsis for the new series reads:
“After a job looking after a high-tech mansion ended in disaster thanks to an irritating insect in Man vs Bee, Trevor Bingley has left the stressful world of housesitting for the quieter life of a school caretaker. That is, until a lucrative offer to look after a luxury London penthouse over Christmas proves too tempting to resist. But on the last day of term, when no one comes to collect the Baby Jesus from the school nativity, Trevor finds himself with another undersized and very unexpected companion. With a penthouse to protect and a baby to burp, will Trevor be able to have the calm Christmas he hopes for, or will festivities descend into chaos?”
The four-part, half-hour series comes from creators Rowan Atkinson and Will Davies, with Chris Clark and Davies serving as executive producers. Kate Fasulo takes on the role of series producer, with direction by David Kerr. HouseSitter Productions produces the show.
Who is in the cast of Man vs Baby?
Alongside Rowan Atkinson in the series, we can confirm that Alanah Bloor (Sandokan, Waves) will play Maddy, and Oriel Bathurst will play a “principal character” in the new series.
Additionally, we now know that Ashley Jensen (Shetland, Extras) will play Janet, Sunetra Sarker (The Game, Ackley Bridge) as Georgia Hakopian, and Claudie Blakley (Father Brown, Lark Rise to Candleford) as Jess.
Joseph Balderrama is also listed in the cast on IMDb, having recently appeared in F1: The Movie and featured across many seasons of Heartstopper, although we haven’t been able to confirm their casting.
Netflix also lists the dog as “Arti as Archie” and labels the baby as Baby Jesus…

It’s been a busy year for new projects from Netflix in the United Kingdom, with Cillian Murphy’s Steve most recently released. Coming up next are Run Away, Agatha Christie’s Seven Dials, and How to Get To Heaven From Belfast, all due out within the first few months of 2026, alongside other releases for that year, including Legends and the long-awaited return of The Gentlemen.
