At the recently held Global Peace Honours 2025 in Mumbai, Nita Ambani wore a custom saree by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. The chairperson and founder of the Reliance Foundation wore a georgette saree in an off-white colour, hand-embroidered with phulwari motifs in resham zardozi. The saree features an elegant pearl-encrusted chevron border. She paired it with a fully embroidered zardozi matching blouse.
When it comes to jewellery, Nita Ambani’s collection remains unmatched. For the occasion, she wore diamonds and pearls. A multi-layered pearl necklace was teamed with matching statement earrings that also sparkled with diamonds.
Her makeup was flawlessly executed by Mickey Contractor and was finished with a red bindi. Her hair was elegantly done into a low bun, wrapped with a delicate floral gajra.
The Global Peace Honours 2025 is an initiative by the Divyaj Foundation, led by Amruta Fadnavis, wife of the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis. The event was organised to honour the heroes of the 26/11 terror attacks and the families of the victims of the Pahalgam attacks.
On the occasion, Nita Ambani was presented with the Global Peace Honour award. It recognised her legacy of building timeless institutions across education, sports, healthcare, art, and culture – institutions that contribute to nation-building.
She was accompanied by her husband Mukesh Ambani, chairman and managing director of Reliance Industries Limited, and her sons Akash and Anant, along with their wives, Shloka and Radhika.
