New Series Coming to Netflix in 2026 & Beyond

New Series Coming to Netflix in 2026 & Beyond

Netflix is lining up a packed year of new scripted series for 2026, with fresh dramas, comedies, thrillers, and literary adaptations all in the pipeline. While the full slate has yet to be officially announced, a growing number of projects are already confirmed or deep into filming and post-production, giving us a strong sense of what may arrive over the next year. Below, we’re focusing exclusively on debut shows currently underway and with a realistic chance of making the 2026 schedule, with details that will continue to evolve as production timelines shift.

Much like our 2026 movie preview, we’ve got a set of rules for what can appear below, since we don’t yet have an official list from Netflix. We’re going to focus on titles that have been confirmed, are in post-production, or are currently in production, and therefore have a chance of being released in 2026.

One additional rule for this series post is that we’re not going to include returning series (i.e., shows like Virgin River returning for season 7) and instead focus on debut shows. Also, we’ll focus only on scripted shows here, so any reality or documentary series we know about won’t be featured.

Finally, the most important thing: all the details below are subject to change, and titles may slip into 2027. Where titles have been confirmed for 2026, we’ll add a note. We’ll also be updating this post in the coming months, so keep it bookmarked.

Enough rules? Thought so. Let’s dive into it:
