Welcome back to your regularly scheduled Friday roundup of everything new on Netflix this week in the US. 42 new movies and series arrived over the past week (excluding the November 1st additions, where we saw over 100 arrive!), and lots of movements in the Netflix top 10s in the US. Below, we’ll look through some of the best new arrivals and the complete list of everything new for the week ending November 7th.
Despite now being deep into the penultimate month of the year, we’re still getting word of brand-new arrivals scheduled to touch down throughout the remainder of November 2025, and we’re now starting to track all the December releases.
What to Watch on Netflix This Weekend
Frankenstein (2025)
Rating: R
Language: English
Genre: Drama, Fantasy, Horror
Director: Guillermo del Toro
Cast: Oscar Isaac, Jacob Elordi, Mia Goth
Writer: Guillermo del Toro
Runtime: 149 min / 2h 29m
Years in the making and decades more in the mind of famed and decorated creator Guillermo del Toro, we see Mary Shelley’s timeless novel given a modern and incredible adaptation that sees Dr. Victor Frankenstein, an egotistical scientist, bring a creature to life in a monstrous experiment that ultimately leads to the undoing of both the creator and his tragic creation.
In our review, which we gave the movie a four-star rating, we concluded, “Guillermo del Toro creates a Frankenstein all his own without sacrificing the madness & beauty of Shelley’s work. While complicated at times by poorly executed CGI & Netflix brand shine, the film is produced with exceptional detail and cast incredibly well. Expect many award nominations heading into Oscar season.”
Soulmates (Season 1)
Number of episodes: 6
Rating: TV-14
Language: English
Genre: Drama, Romance, Sci-Fi
Writer: William Bridges, Brett Goldstein
Runtime: 269 min / 4h 29m
New week, new AMC show, and this week, we see the incredibly underrated anthology series, which has strong similarities to Black Mirror, particularly the Hang the DJ episode, and sadly didn’t get a second-season renewal. Spread across six episodes that premiered in late 2020, the series is set in the near future, where each episode follows a new protagonist as they participate in a revolutionary discovery that allows people to find their one true soulmate.
Amongst the incredible cast assembled for the show are Sarah Snook (Succession), Kingsley Ben-Adir (Secret Invasion), Bill Skarsgård (It), Charlie Heaton (Stranger Things), Betsy Brandt (Breaking Bad), and Malin Akerman (Watchmen).
The Vince Staples Show (Season 2)
Number of episodes: 6
Rating: TV-MA
Language: English
Genre: Biography, Comedy, Music
Cast: Vince Staples, Andrea Ellsworth, Watts Homie Quan
Most critics seem to agree that The Vince Staples Show season 2 manages to build on the incredibly well-reviewed first season, with episodes being an absolute breeze to get through. If you’re not familiar, the show follows the rapper, who plays himself, navigating surreal slices of everyday life, blending sharp comedy with the kind of dry, deadpan chaos only Vince can deliver.
The synopsis of the second season reads, “Get ready for hijinks only a mother could love. In the wake of a tragic death, Vince embarks on a wild journey in search of inner peace. However, his path is littered with reminders of his haunted past.”
