Netflix Adds 27 New K-Drama Series Including ‘The Penthouse: War in Life” ‘Secret Garden’ and ‘Rooftop Prince’
Late last year, Netflix signed an output deal with the major Korean broadcaster SBS, promising to deliver new and older content from SBS’s fantastic library. After an extended wait, a large batch of nearly 30 new titles for SBS K-dramas has landed on Netflix US, including Dr. Romantic, Doctor John, The Penthouse: War in Life, and more!
SBS is one of the largest broadcasters in South Korea and is responsible for one of the most popular terrestrial television stations, SBS TV. Millions of Korean citizens watch the station every day. The deal Netflix signed last year was to provide subscribers with new content, which we’ve already seen in 2025 with The Winning Try, Queen Mantis, and Dynamite Kiss, which arrives on November 12, 2025.
Also part of the deal was to include some content from the rich content library. After 11 months, we’re finally seeing that promise delivered with some of the best of the SBS library coming to the Netflix US library on Monday, November 17, 2025. Note that many of these are already streaming on Netflix in international territories.
Here are all the SBS K-dramas that have touched down on Netflix US and we’ll also pick out some highlights:
