Netflix Adding Five More AMC Series in December 2025
From new sci-fi to more fantasy, Netflix is getting a few more beloved AMC titles throughout December.
The “AMC on Netflix” era continues in December with multiple new shows confirmed for release on Netflix in the US (and internationally). Following the renewal of the AMC deal late this Summer, we’ve seen new seasons of the likes of Dark Winds and Interview with the Vampire, and the introduction of Soulmates, NOS4A2, and Parish. Four more scripted dramas from the AMC Networks library have been confirmed to join Netflix in the US this December.
Quick note: if you’re on Netflix internationally, you’ll also be getting weekly episodes of Anne Rice’s Talamasca: The Secret Order beginning in early December. Netflix in international territories is also set to pick up NOS4A2 and Soulmates throughout December.
Here is the rundown of the four new AMC shows coming to Netflix US in December.
Brockmire
Netflix Release Date: December 3rd (Multiple seasons are arriving)

First airing on IFC, this comedy series features Hank Azaria, who plays Jim Brockmire, a legendary major league baseball announcer who suffers a massive, profanity-laden meltdown on-air after discovering his wife’s infidelity. Decades later, he attempts to resurrect his career by calling games for a sad-sack minor league team in a small rust-belt town, run by a strong-willed owner (Amanda Peet). While the show is famous for its creative insults and baseball insider humor, it evolves into a genuinely touching story about addiction, redemption, and the changing landscape of America.
Dispatches from Elsewhere (Limited Series)
Netflix Release Date: December 4th

Perhaps the most unique addition of the bunch is this anthology series that was created by and stars Jason Segel and aired on AMC during the pandemic. Based on the real-life “Games of Nonchalance” alternate reality game (ARG) in San Francisco, the show follows four ordinary people who feel something is missing from their lives. They are brought together by chance to solve a puzzle hiding just behind the veil of everyday reality. If you like shows that blur the line between reality and fantasy (think Black Mirror, Maniac, or The OA) but with a more hopeful, optimistic tone, this is a must-watch.
61st Street
Netflix Release Date: December 16th

If you are looking for a gritty, acting-heavy drama, this is the pick of the month. Executive produced by Michael B. Jordan, 61st Street offers a searing look at the Chicago criminal justice system. The story follows Moses Johnson (Tosin Cole), a promising high school athlete who gets swept up in a corrupt police investigation, and Franklin Roberts (Courtney B. Vance), the lawyer fighting to save him.
The series has had a complicated release history so far. Season 2 was filmed but originally scrapped by AMC before being saved by The CW. As a result, it’s currently unclear whether Netflix will get just the AMC season or both. Fingers crossed for the latter.
Moonhaven (Season 1)
Netflix Release Date: December 17th (also includes Netflix internationally)
The Lowdown: A hidden gem for sci-fi fans who miss the high-concept world-building of shows like The Expanse or Altered Carbon. Set 100 years in the future, the series takes place on a utopian colony on the Moon (Moonhaven) that holds the key to saving a dying Earth. However, when a murder occurs on the supposedly perfect lunar surface, a cargo pilot and a detective must team up to uncover a conspiracy that threatens the last hope of humanity.
Cancellation Note: While the show developed a cult following, be aware that this is a “one-and-done” binge. Despite initially being renewed, AMC reversed the decision, meaning the story ends after the first season.
Sanctuary: A Witch’s Tale (Season 1)
Netflix Release Date: December 26th (Also coming to Netflix internationally)

If you’ve loved all of the Anne Rice additions to Netflix, you definitely need to add this to your Netflix queue next. Often described as Big Little Lies meets Practical Magic, this series, which first airs on Sundance Now and has been renewed for a second season, is set in a contemporary world where witchcraft is real and accepted. The story takes place in the idyllic English town of Sanctuary. But when a local teen rugby star dies at a party, the town’s harmony fractures, and the local witch and her daughter become the targets of a modern-day witch hunt.
