More Mayfair Witches is on the way to Netflix in the United States. Having only aired on AMC earlier this year, all eight episodes of the gothic horror series, set in the Anne Rice “Immortal” universe, are heading to Netflix US on December 2nd, 2025.

First released in 2023, Mayfair Witches is the second show in the so-called Immortal universe, following Interview with the Vampire (also on Netflix), with the plot revolving around Alexandra Daddario’s character, Rowan Fielding, a doctor who learns that she is the heiress to the Mayfair dynasty.

Season 2 aired between January and March of this year and saw some cast changes, including the additions of Alyssa Jirrels, Ben Feldman, Ted Levine, and Mariana A. Novak.

The new season comes courtesy of a refreshed deal between AMC and Netflix, which is bringing new seasons of some shows licensed in 2024, including Mayfair Witches, as well as new titles entirely, such as Orphan Black and its spin-off Echoes, the medical drama This Is Going to Hurt, and others. The first season of Mayfair Witches hit Netflix in August 2024.

What about Netflix internationally? Season 1 was added to the streamer in select international territories, like Netflix in the UK, in mid-September, and our understanding is that more regions are set to receive the show, including season 2, with a release on Netflix UK in March 2026. That’s all subject to change, so keep an eye on your New & Popular section in the Netflix app for the latest updates.

Don’t forget that Talamasca: The Secret Order is due out on Netflix in most regions beginning with Netflix in international territories in December 2025 and a US release for next year.

When will Season 3 of Mayfair Witches be on AMC and Netflix?

As mentioned, season 3 of Mayfair Witches picked up a season 3 renewal earlier this year, but as of the time of writing, it’s only just recently gotten back into production. Season 3 heads to Vancouver again for its new batch of episodes, with a scheduled wrap date of February 11th, 2026.

No release date for the third season, but it’s probably safe to say it’ll premiere on AMC and AMC+ sometime in the back half of 2026 at the earliest. Season 3 will reportedly delve deeper into the mythology of witchcraft, introduce new ‘spellbound’ families, and feature historical events from Salem, Massachusetts, the infamous town of witch trials and folklore. James Frain and Eliza Scanlen are the two biggest new names on the cast list so far. Season 3 will also see Thomas Schnauz showrun alongside Esta Spalding who has spearheaded the series for seasons 1 and 2.

As for a Netflix release for season 3, that’s up in the air. Our current understanding is that Netflix’s deal for seasons 1 and 2 will run through to December 2nd, 2026, and from there, the two parties will need to come up with an arrangement for a third season.
