‘Kin and Sin’ Netflix Noir K-Drama: Cast Announced & What We Know So Far

Han Seok Kyu, Yoon Kye Sang, Choo Ha Hyun, and more will star in Netflix’s upcoming Korean drama series Kin and Sin. Details are limited, but we’re keeping track of everything you need to know about Kin and Sin on Netflix.
Kin and Sin is an upcoming South Korean Netflix Original drama series directed by Cho Jeong Yeol, who previously wrote and directed Start-Up and directed Vigilante.
What is the plot of Kin and Sin?
Set on Jeju Island, where three rival families, the Bus, the Yangs, and the Kos, fight to keep their lineage and legacy protected.
The Bus controls pig farming and horse racing on Jeju Island. The Yang family has expanded its operations in Jeju City through real estate development; meanwhile, the Ko family in Seogwipo, which once made a name for itself in the casino business, has since lost considerable power and influence. All three families fight for control and power over Jeju Island.
Who are the cast members of Kin and Sin?
The six lead cast members have been revealed to be: Han Seok Kyu, Yoon Kye Sang, Choo Ha Hyun, Yoo Jae Myung, Kim Jong Soo, and Go Doo Shim.
Han Seok Kyu plays Bu Yong Nam. The actor is most well-known for his role as Kim Sa Bu in all three seasons of Dr. Romantic. He has also starred in dramas such as Dount, Recipe for Farewell, and Watcher. The actor has yet to star in a Netflix project.

Yoon Kye Sang plays Bu Geon. The actor has starred in Netflix projects such as The Winning Try, The Frog and Chocolate. Outside of Netflix, he has starred in dramas such as Kiss Sixth Sense and The Good Wife.

Choo Ja Hyun plays Bu Yoon Seon. The actress has starred in several Netflix projects, such as Narco-Saints, Little Women, Green Mother’s Club, and Arthdal Chronicles.

Yoo Jae Myung plays Yang Gwang Ik. The actor has starred in many Netflix projects, such as Song of the Bandits, The Sound of Magic, Juvenile Justice, Vincenzo, Itaewon Class, Life and Prison Playbook.

Kim Jong Soo plays Ko Dae Su. The actor played a supporting role in the recently released Netflix series Aema and starred in Moving, Life, and Kingdom.

It’s unclear when filming for Kin and Sin will begin, but with the cast announced, it’s likely in pre-production, and filming will get underway soon.
When can we expect to see Kin and Sin on Netflix?
This largely depends on the filming schedule. Once we have filming dates, it will be easier to speculate on a release date for the K-drama.
However, given how close we are to the end of 2025, even if filming were to begin by the start of November, we wouldn’t be expecting to see the K-drama on Netflix until sometime in 2027.
