Jason Kelce and his wife, Kylie Kelce, have got each other’s backs.
The 38-year-old retired NFL star shares daughters Wyatt, 6, Elliotte, 4, Bennett, 2, and Finn, 7 months, with Kylie, 33, and on Monday, Nov. 24, he opened up about their approach to parenting.
“We’re on the same page almost all the time,” Jason said of himself and Kylie on a bonus episode of his and brother Travis Kelce’s New Heights podcast. “We’re both pretty disciplinarian when it comes to the girls.”
But Jason admitted that he came into being a girl dad at a disadvantage, joking, “The only girl I grew up with is Travis, so this is new territory.”

“When I first found out I was having Wyatt, I was like, ‘Okay. I’m not gonna raise her any differently than how I would raise a boy. Like, I’m gonna make her tough and disciplined, and I’m not gonna be like this, like, daddy’s daughter who’s getting everything she wants,’ ” Jason recalled.
“Then the moment she came out, it was very hard not to be that dad… it is very difficult when they look at me a certain way to not cave, like, instantaneously.”
As for his wife, whom he married in 2018, Jason said Kylie “is better at resisting that than I am, 100%.”

However, he noted that he refuses to cave when the topic is deemed important enough.
“I’ll cave for, like, a treat or, like, something innocuous,” he explained. “But if it’s, like, either being selfish or mean or lying… we’re not gonna put up with this, I’ll for sure put my foot down.”
Jason recently made headlines after he detailed his decision not to let his daughter Wyatt get her own waffle at Disney World. He explained on a recent episode of New Heights that Wyatt had wanted her own waffle despite there being a limited number for a large group of people.
“Kylie is like, ‘Just give her the waffle. What are you doing?’ I’m like, ‘No. I’m not f—— I’m not raising some spoiled little f—— rotten child. She’s sharing,’ ” Jason shared, later adding, “Kyle actually had my back. So it was good.”
