Charli xcx is bringing a humorous take on her Brat era to movie theaters in 2026.
On Thursday, Nov. 20, A24 released a teaser trailer for The Moment, which appears to be a mockumentary featuring the “360” singer, 33, as a fictional version of herself as she prepares to tour her hit 2024 album Brat.
“A rising pop star navigates the complexities of fame and industry pressure while preparing for her arena tour debut,” reads a synopsis.
The movie also marks Kylie Jenner’s official film acting debut. The reality star and beauty mogul is featured briefly in the trailer, along with a star-studded cast that includes Rosanna Arquette, Kate Berlant, Jamie Demetriou, Hailey Benton Gates, Isaac Powell, Rachel Sennott and Alexander Skarsgård.

Charli xcx previously revealed that Jenner would appear in her movie back in October. Jenner herself noted during a Nov. 12 appearance on her sister Khloé Kardashian’s podcast that she will play herself in the movie, and that she “was so scared for days to actually do it.“
“I had a very small part. I mean, I had a lot of lines, but I was just so afraid,” Jenner said at the time.

According to a press release, The Moment is based on an original idea by Charli xcx. The pop star has begun pivoting toward acting this year; she appeared in the movies Erupcja, Sacrifice and 100 Nights of Hero in 2025 and has multiple projects coming up, including a collaboration with Olivia Wilde and Cooper Hoffman in their next movie, I Want Your Sex.
The Moment is in theaters Jan. 30.
