1/24 Romance is an upcoming South Korean Netflix Original romantic comedy series directed by Kim Sang Hyub (Extraordinary You) and written by screenwriters Han Sul Hee (Business Proposal) and Hong Bo Hee (Standby). The series will be an adaptation of the webtoon One Twenty-Fourth Romance by author Kim Myeong Mi.

Chu Ju An and Do Jin are opposites at work. She is a legendary PD of a broadcasting station’s entertainment department, but, as a workaholic, has put her career first, and her spiky demeanour sees her take everything far too seriously and rule the office with an iron fist. He is a former tennis genius with a heart of gold who holds incredible records in Korean sports history. Despite his clumsy nature, luck was on his side when he landed an entry-level marketing job. The pair are inexplicably bonded after a company trip to a temple results in the pair being forced to swap bodies for only one hour each day. Now put in each other’s shoes, will romance bloom as Chu Ju An learns to sympathise with the pretty boy who constantly gets things wrong, and can Do Jin see a softer side to his boss?
Who are the cast members of 1/24 Romance?
Two actors have been approached to play the lead roles as Cha Ju An and Do Jin in 1/24 Romance, Shin Hye Sun and Na In Woo. The respective talent agencies of both actors are actively reviewing the offer, with Shin Hye Sun’s Management Siseon reportedly stating: “Shin Hye Sun is positively reviewing her appearance in ‘1/24.”Meanwhile, Na In Woo’s agency, HANADA, also released a statement: “Na In Woo has received an offer to star in the Netflix original series ‘1/24’ and is currently reviewing it.”
Shin Hye Sun has starred in several K-dramas on Netflix, including Welcome to Samdal-ri, See You in My 19th Life, and both seasons of Stranger. She is also starring as the lead in Netflix’s upcoming series The Art of Sarah. Outside of Netflix, she has held lead roles in K-dramas such as Mr. Queen, The Hymn of Death, and Still 17.
Na in Woo’s only Netflix project to date was a supporting role in Mystic Pop-Up Bar. He has starred in K-dramas such as Love Is for the Dogs, Motel California, and Marry My Husband.
